Jefferson Proving Grounds
The Jefferson Proving Ground (or JPG), located near Madison, Indiana, was principally a munitions testing facility of Test and Evaluation Command of the United States Army Materiel Development and Readiness Command. The southern portion of the proving ground is now managed by Ford Industrial for a variety of uses.

This 100,000 square foot facility has served the construction needs of residential and general contractors for over 50 years. This 8 acre site is centrally located on the hilltop in Madison's commercial district. With over 2.2 acres under roof, the facility is multipurpose in function.
Marble Hill Nuclear Power Plant
Marble Hill Nuclear Power Station was an unfinished nuclear power plant in Saluda Township, Jefferson County, near Hanover, Indiana. In 1984, the Public Service Company of Indiana announced it was abandoning the half-finished nuclear power plant, on which $2.5 billion had already been spent. Since closure, the site and many of the materials have been re-purposed for alternative uses.
